I am an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher. I consider myself creative, hardworking, and a continuous learner who is always looking for new ideas to enhance my teaching methodologies. My passion is reading and traveling, and I am fully dedicated to what I do. Creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication are key components of my teaching approach. I promote student-centred methodologies that respect students’ rights. I believe that learners should be motivated and encouraged to learn a second language and should feel safe to express their ideas freely in the classroom. I am the kind of teacher that looks at every student and supports them, understanding their different needs and skills. I teach English through stories, science, art and I believe that English Language Teaching does not constitute a separate course in the curriculum but it represents a different means for children to explore the world around them.

• Providing high-quality lessons and seminars to ESL teachers around Greece. • Providing teaching guidance. • Observing and evaluating lessons and lesson plans. • Evaluating and grading trainees’ research projects and papers based on the CertTESOL criteria. • Presenting teaching ideas of the systems and skills of the English language and promoting a communicative methodology in the English language classroom. • Receiving an up-to-date training on becoming a teacher trainer according to the criteria of Trinity College in London.

Montessori Way of Life
• Teaching English as a second/foreign language to Kindergarten and pre-school children according to the Montessori educational system. • Assisting the Kindergarten teachers • Creating ESL activities following the Montessori guidelines • Teaching literacy skills to pre-school children and native English speakers, aged of 5-6.

Ardmore Language School
• Teach 30 hours per week during the summer period, prepare lessons, attend continuous professional development (CPD) sessions (1-2 hours a week) and help with recreational activities and excursions (8 hours a week). • Lead conversation club (2 hours a week). • Teach exam preparation courses where required. • Assist the DOS with student testing and placement. • Teach English to a high standard following the syllabus set out in the Ardmore Language Schools’ workbooks and academic program. • Prepare and deliver lessons following the Ardmore language school’s curriculum. • Use teaching techniques that are appropriate to the level and needs of the students making every effort to create a positive learning environment enabling students to actively participate. • Administer and mark course-assessment tasks as well as marking Placement and Exit Tests. • Maintain excellent class administration including lesson preparation, class registration and monitoring student progress and ensure that this is submitted each week. • Prepare mini lessons prior each excursion (e.g. class discussion, pre-excursion lesson handouts, etc.).
