Company Description
Glossomatheia Language Learning & Research Center is looking for a Director of Studies.
The school follows a critical pedagogy approach and the ideal candidate should be familiar with both its theory and practice.
Required Qualifications:
* BA in Linguistics, Education or Philosophy
* DipTESOL, DELTA and/ or MA or Med in a relevant field
* Excellent use of oral and written English
* Ability to manage a team in a democratic way
* Experience with non-grammar based, non-exam prep frameworks
* Edtech familiarity
* Experience in teacher training, conference presentations, action research
* Evidence of CPD
* Excellent knowledge of the CEFR
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in testing, item writing and educational assessment
* Extensive academic publications record with a high level of international visibility in the domain of language learning and/ or assessment
* Familiarization with Inquiring Minds, Deeper Learning
* Experience with CLIL
* Experience with materials from international publishers or non-ELT specific approaches
